In a by theme bookclub, you choose what books you want to read from a list of suggested books that all relate the chosen theme that we all vote for.
Pick one, some, all, or even books that weren’t included on the list but fit the theme.
Then we’ll meet-up every two months (in-person and by Google Meet) to discuss the books and how they relate to the theme. At the end of each meet-up, we’ll vote on the next themed book list.

As much as we want diversity of thought, interests, and backgrounds, this is a group based in the fundamental values of respect, equity, equality, liberty, social justice, truth, and community.
These values in practice look like actively practicing antiracism and protecting the rights and dignity of Queer and LGBTQ+, immigrants, Black, Indigenous, People of Color, disabled people, and all historically marginalized groups. This Bookclub seeks to understand humanity through the fictional and lived experiences of humans, and encourages everyone to keep an open mind to other’s interpretations and opinions, while also speaking up when a conversation veers to harmful or misinformed areas.
